On 10th january 2008, the day Tata Nano was unveiled at Dehli's AUTO EXPO few month ago , there was an absolute chaos everywhere.Most critics who mocked at RATAN TATA for the idea,are enthralled .At a Rs 1 lakh or 2500$ tag for 'NANO' triggered a paradigm shift to Auto Industry.According to Invest India Market Solution the potential buyer of Tata Nano can be around 12.8 million.It targeted most of the Customer who have spent half of their life on 'Hamara Bajaj'(Bajaj Scooter).Most of middle class families and rural india ,who had possibly only dreamt of owing car ,now fulfill their dream with NANO. My father also said "ab to 1 lakh ki car milti hai,tab to kisht bhi kafi kam hogi".
With Ford and General Motors American made their superiority in Auto Industry, With Toyota and Honda Japanese showed their strength.Now its small NANO who have made their presence on world map.To lure foreign customer Ratan Tata has to take some aggresive stratagic decision. Brand India has yet to make a his name globally.
Tata Nano was not built on Nano second. It took years and lot of sweat for Ratan Tata to fill colours in dream of millions of Indians.
