FIAL (Fiat India Automobiles Limited) is a joint venture of Fiat Group Automobiles and Tata Motors Limited (Tata) and its manufacturing plant is located at Ranjangaon in Pune. The launch of Fiat Linea is expected to create a new sub-segment between the mid sized cars and the luxury cars segment due to its unique design, comfortability, performance, security and features. Fiat Linea is the new generation sedan by FIAL which is derived from the most popular Fiat model, Fiat Grande Punto. Fiat Linea is the elegantly functional car, that has a stylish and elegant interiors inspired by the Italian tradition.

Fiat Linea launched in India with 1.4L, 16-Valve, FIRE Petrol engine and 1.3L, 16-Valve, Advanced Multijet Diesel engine. Fiat Linea launched in India in 5 exciting varaints - Active, Dynamic, Dynamic Pack, Emotion and Emotion Pack with 4 elegant colors - Flamenco Red, Minimal Grey, Perla Champagne and Hip Hop Black. All these 5 variants of Fiat Linea is equipped with the same engine, they are different only in terms of luxuries and comfort. All the variants of Fiat Linea are available with both petrol and diesel engine option. The top end model of Fiat Linea is fully loaded with ABS, EBD, dual airbags, power steering, power windows, central locking, immoblizer, tilt steering, alloy wheels and its most revolutionary "Blue and Me" feature. Blue & Me is a voice interactive device developed by Fiat along with the Microsoft, which offers an additional voice interface for the on board music system and can be linked to a personal mobile for communicating through the cars's audio unit & speakers.

Fiat Linea has been launched by Fial with the unbeatable price range of Rs. 6.19 lacs to Rs. 8.36 lacs. The price of petrol version of Fiat Linea begins from Rs. 6.19 lacs and goes up to Rs. 7.22 lacs while the diesel model of Fiat Linea is priced between Rs. 7.12 lacs to Rs. 8.36 lacs.
