Mahindra to launch Xylo on 13th January

India’s leading auto manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra is ready to launch its new MUV (multi utility vehicle), Mahindra Xylo on 13th January. Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. (M&M), today announced that production of the Mahindra Xylo is on schedule at Nashik based manufacturing plant. Mahindra Xylo will be unveiled on 13th January, 2009 and customer bookings will open from 14th January. The much awaited muv, Mahindra Xylo is the most anticipated vehicle from the Mahindra stable since the Scorpio.

Mahindra Xylo is equipped with the same engine as that of Scorpio which produces 110 Bhp power at 3800rpm and 277.5 Nm torque at 1700rpm.

The exterior looks of Mahindra Xylo is seems like the Toyota Innova, and the rear look is little less clean that the Innova. The styling features are included in Mahindra Xylo by an Italian designer team.

Mahindra Xylo, which is all set to storm the MUV segment, blends the style and comfort of a sedan with the huskiness of an SUV, resulting in a truly versatile vehicle that cuts across segments.

Mr. Rajesh Jejurikar, Chief of Operations, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. said that the production of Mahindra Xylo is well on schedule at thei Nashik based manufacturing plant. Mahindra Xylo has been developed by a team of 160 experts who have created new benchmarks in terms of technology, performance and style.
