Hyundai Motors India Limited is planning to launch new Hyundai Verna in India in January 2009. The new Hyundai Verna is the face-lifted version of Verna and it will be launch in India with a fresh look. Sources revealed that, the new Hyundai Verna will have cosmetic face-lifts in the front as well as in the interiors. It is expected that new Hyundai Verna would launched with changes in the interiors, music system with USB port, etc.


Hyundai is planning to launch new Hyundai Verna to compete against the Fiat Linea that was launched on 15th January in India. It is to be mentioned here that existing Verna is a stylish luxury sedan in its segment with awe-inspiring engines and dashing interiors. The existing Verna is available with 5-speed manual transmission and comes with 1.6L I4 engine in the petrol model and a 1.5L I4 turbocharged engine in the diesel model.

Hyundai Motor India Limited is the India’s largest car exporter and the second largest car manufacturer and has recently launched Hyundai Sonata Transform and Hyundai i20 in India. Hyundai plans to capture larger auto market share and plans to expand its product portfolio as well.
