After facing a lots of problems, including the shift of the Manufacturing plant, the most eagerly anticipated car of 2009 - Tata Nano launch and booking date has been decided. The world’s cheapest and the most awaited car, Tata Nano launch is decided on 23rd March. Finally Tata Motors is decided to launch Tata Nano on 23rd March. Tata Nano will be available at Tata showrooms from the first week of April and Tata Nano booking will be start from the second week of April. Tata Nano launch is able revolutionise the automobile industry that has been widely acknowledged in India and abroad.

In India, Tata Nano launch might lead to growth in the domestic auto market. Tata Motors displayed the Tata Nano at the Geneva Motor Show last year and plans to launch the European version at the show in March 2009.

Tata dealers expect that Tata Nano will be a big revenue earner for Tata Motors and its vendors, although they said that Tata Nano might earn small margins. Tata dealers said that company might take full payment for Tata Nano booking. There is speculation as to whether Tata Motors would launch Tata Nano in a number of cities.

The third largest auto manufacturer of India, Tata Motors plans to invest more $435 million for the production of Tata Nano and to nail down the production timeline with production slated to start in February, that means Tata Motors will doubling its investment for the production of Tata Nano. Tata Motors new plan to invest additional $435 million and allotment of additional land by Uttarakhand government will help it to launch Tata Nano on 23rd March this year.

Tata Nano Booking Date

Tata Nano booking will begin by second week of April. Sources said that all dealers of Tata Motors and branches of the State Bank of India (SBI) will accept Tata Nano booking simultaneously across the India in the next three weeks. SBI will not only act as sole lender to buyers but also offer its branches for Tata Nano booking. As Tata Motors is eyeing initial Tata Nano booking of over one lakh. Tata Motors hopes to collect around Rs 700 crore in just a few weeks. As Tata Nano launch is decided in 23rd March 2009 with cars rolling out from the Pantnagar plant in Uttaranchal.

According to the Tata Motors, Tata Nano booking will started by second week of April 2009, Tata Nano booking will also starts from second week of April 2009 and they are preparing for that. They have an unending customer list. They had registered more than one lakh customers interested in the Tata Nano and whenever the Tata Nano booking will start, these customers will get top priority.
