Tata Nano Features

Tata Nano will be launched in two variants, one is Standard and second is Deluxe model. Here are details of some features of these models in comparison with each other.

1) ENGINE :-

Both of the models of Tata Nano will be launched with the same engine of 624 CC. The engine is capable of generating power of 33 BHP. A two cylinder system has been used in this engine which makes this model fuel ef. The engine will provide two wheel drive in both of the models.

2) TRANSMISSION :-

A Manual Transmission has been provided in Standard model while an Automatic Transmission

has been provided in the Deluxe model. With Automatic Transmission the Power window also provided in the Deluxe model while Manual Windows have been provided in Standard model.

3) SIZE :-

Both of the Tata Nano models have been manufactured with the same dimensions and same size. The model has been given a length of 3.1 Meter while a width of 1.5 Meter. Hight of both of the models is 1.6 Meter.

4) FUEL SYSTEM :-

Tata Nano model will be launched in only petrol version as of now. Although there are reports that the diesel version of the model will be available in market by starting of 2010. Both of the models has a Fuel Tank Capacity of 30 liters. Mileage for Standard Model is claimed to be more then 20 kmpl while for deluxe model it will be below 20 kmpl.

5) Other Features :-

The car will be launched in three colors red, yellow and silver. The model will be compatible with emission norms Bharat Stage III and IV. Top speed for Standard model will be 80 kmph while for Deluxe model it will be 120 kmph. Both of the cars will have seating capacity of 4 persons. The Standard model is expected to be priced at Rs 1.3 lakh while the Deluxe model is expected to be priced at Rs 2.3 lakh.
