Nano certified most fuel efficient car in India

Recently launched and much hyped Tata Motors model, Tata Nano certified most fuel efficient car in India. Earlier, Maruti Suzuki cars said the most fuel efficient car in India from last few decades. However, from the recent testimonials of ARAI (Automobile Research Association of India) it is certified that now Tata Nano is most fuel efficient car in India. ARAI certified that Tata Nano requires much less fuel than the other econimical cars of this segment and is the most fuel efficient car in India.

ARAI conducted a test for Tata Nano and certified that Tata Nano is most fuel efficient car in India amongst all commercially launched A-segment small car models available in India. It gives around 23.6 kmpl mileage under standard conditions.

Currently, Maruti Suzuki owns around 55% of the total auto market share in India and out of them around two-third of the small car sales in India. Last year in November Maruti has launched its hatchback model Maruti A-Star in India that is known to have clocked fuel efficiency of 19.3kmpl. Its most popular and high selling car Maruti Alto is also known to have gives the mileage of 18.1 same as to Hyundai i10.
