Honda Jazz

Auto major Honda Motor Co. ready to launch its premium hatchback car Honda Jazz in India. Honda announced that they are going to launch Honda Jazz in India on 10th June in B+ segment. Honda is not announced the exact Honda Jazz price but it is expected that Honda Jazz would be priced in the range of Rs 6 to 7 lacs. Honda Jazz is completely build on Honda City platform and is much luxurious than any other small car available in India that leads it to high end price. Honda Jazz is a five door small car that will be equipped with Honda's advanced i-VTEC engine.

Honda Jazz will be launched with five variants with two petrol engine options - a 1.2L, i-VTEC petrol engine with manual gear transmission that is able to produce the maximum power of 90bhp and the another one is a 1.4L, i-VTEC petrol engine that will be produce maximum power of 100bhp.

To keep Honda Jazz price low, it will be manufactured in India with 80% parts from India. Honda Jazz will be the first hatchback car from Honda in India and company hopes that the Honda Jazz sales will pick up its momentum in coming festival season. Honda Jazz has enough space inside in comparison to any other car of this segment from a row of comfortable contoured rear seats to a large boot space that is enough spacious to put a bicycle. Honda Jazz is equipped with all active and passive safety features like Antilock Braking System (ABS), Dual Front Airbags, Dual Side Airbags, side Curtain Airbags, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Front and Rear Disc Brakes, Central Locking, Child Lock and Emergency Brake Assist which enhances the safety during drive.
