India's largest auto manufacturer and second largest auto exporter Maruti Kizashi

India Limited is planning to launch Maruti Kizashi, its new sedan model in India. Maruti Kizashi is at cocept satage and it is expected that it will be launched in the first quarter of 2010. First time Maruti unveiled this model at the Frankfurt Motor Show in year 2007 and after that it was again displayed at the 9th Auto Expo in New Delhi in year 2008. Maruti Kizashi will be equipped with all desired luxuries and other advanced equipments that a mid level sedan carries. The company official refused to say about the Maruti Kizashi price but it is expected that it will be priced in the range of Rs 10 to 12 lacs.

Maruti Kizashi will feature a superb aero-dynamic design with dashing front grille to offer stylish look. Its tapering headlights with sharp front design offer a completely fresh view to the model that is unseen so far in Maruti small car models available in India. This new upcoming model Maruti Kizashi can rightfully be attributed as a cross-over sporty sedan.

Maruti Suzuki India Limited has recently launched its new hatchback model Maruti Ritz in India which is build on Maruti Swift platform and got very positive response in Indian auto market. Maruti plans to expand its product portfolio to capture the mid level sedan segment also as its major sales comes from its small cars in India. Currently, Maruti Swift Dzire and Maruti SX4 are the two models that attributes for major chunk of its sales figure.
"My concern is about the quality of our product and our growth. Although we achieved good overall national sales figure, but the region-wise and model-wise performance was not uniform. We relied mostly on Maruti Swift Dzire and Maruti Swift to power our growth," said MSI Maruti Suzuki India (MSI) Managing Director and CEO Shinzo Nakanishi.
