Tata Motors ready to launch most luxurious brand Jaguar and Land Rover in India by the end of this month. Jaguar and Land Rover are all ready with its models to enter the Indian market by end of this June. Most of the models of Jaguar and Land Rover will be launched with some customization to suit the Indian driving conditions. Tata Motors planned to launch these models on 28th of this month and will also set up exclusive showrooms also in smaller towns. It is the part of company strategy for the Indian car market.

Tata Motors plans to launch the models Range Rover, Range Rover Sport and LR Discovery 3 from the Land Rover product portfolio in India. Tata Motors and Jaguar and Land Rover are still trying to make necessary changes in the model suited for the Indian market. Amongst the Jaguar product portfolio, the new models to hit the Indian roads are - XK, XKR, coupe and convertible, the XF 5 litre and XFR.

All these new models will be imported as CBU (Completely Built Units) and its is expected that it will fall in the price range starting from Rs. 35 lakh to Rs. 90 lakh. Tata Motors' Premium Car Division will cater to the sales and service of these new models in Indian market.

It is a shame TATA's are rolling out these as CBUs. I am sure they could assemble them here in India and drastically reduce the cost, making them affordable.
