After the huge success of Honda Jazz, now auto major Honda announced that they will launch the more powerful version of this model with 1.5L engine. Honda
Motor Co recently launched its first hatchback model Honda Jazz in Indian market which got the huge market response to pull crowed in showroom and Honda successfully booked 1000 units of Honda Jazz in the first week despite its hefty price tag. Honda Jazz is a premium hatchback model from Honda's product portfolio that is build on company's most successful sedan model Honda City platform and it is packed with lots of luxurious and advanced equipments which leads is price to high end.

The current models of Honda Jazz are powered by 1.2L, 1198cc, i-VTEC (Variable Valve Timing Electronic Lift Control) petrol engine that produces 90bhp power. Honda Jazz has also been certified by ARAI (Automotive Research Association of India) to give 16.1kmpl. As it is the premium segment car that comes with high price tag, Honda decided to launch Honda Jazz with more powerful engine. The new version of Honda Jazz that will be powered by 1.5L, i-VTEC petrol engine, is expected to be launched in Indian market in the month of September this year. The newer more powerful Honda Jazz will also be launched with an automatic transmission option but this option will require additional one lakh rupees.

Honda Jazz comes with higher price tag but Honda's reliability and its brand image makes customers ready to shell out a price for small car. Currently, Honda Jazz is manufactured at Honda's Greater Noida based manufacturing plant with the 77% of localization.
