World's largest auto manufacturer Toyota Motors ready to launch the face-lifted new Toyota Camry in Indian market on 31st July. Toyota Motors first introduced Toyota Camry in 1980 as a small car model but now it sells as a premium sedan model and it is considered as a good mid-sized sedan model in Internal market. Currently two variants of Toyota Camry are available in Indian market with manual and automatic transmission option that are priced in the range of Rs 20.96 to 22.58 lacs (as ex-showroom prices in New Delhi).

Toyota Motors plans to launch the new Toyota Camry to compete with the recently launched premium sedans like Honda Accord with new V6 engine and new Skoda Superb. The seventh generation of Toyota Camry was showcased at North American International Auto Show 2009 but it is not yet confirmed that the new Toyota Camry that is going to be launched on 31st July will be the same as it showcased at Auto show or it will be launched with fewer changes for Indian market. Toyota Motors still not disclosed the final prices of the new Toyota Camry but company official said that its will be set to compete with Skoda Laura, Honda Accord and Hyundai Sonata Transform.

The changes that are expected in the new Toyota Camry are few cosmetic changes that includes its new stylish front grille, new headlight, new fog lamps and new indicators on rear view mirror, 10 spoke alloy wheels and Aux input for audio system. The new Toyota Camry will be available with two new colours namely Dark Green Mica Metallic and Beige Mica Metallic.
