India's largest auto manufacturer Tata Motors going to launch its new sedan model Tata Indigo Vista very soon in Indian market. Tata Indigo Vista is based on its most popular hatchback model Tata Indica Vista as Tata Motors uses the same platform to build this new car to reduce its overall manufacturing cost. It is expected that Tata Indigo Vista price will be set in the range of Rs 5 to 7 lacs that will surely make this car able to compete with the recently launched cars Fiat Grande Punto and Honda Jazz. As Tata Indigo Vista is a sedan model which will be packed with the similar features that Tata Indica Vista offers, so it will surely made the way tough of Fiat Grande Punto and Honda Jazz as these are hatchback models and priced similar and higher (respectively) that Tata Indigo Vista.

According to the company official Tata Indigo Vista price will be lower than Fiat Linea as both manufacturers Tata Motors and Fiat India marketing in India as a joint venture of 50:50 and they do not intend to capture each others space in Indian market. But company's this strategy might make way tough for its Fiat Grande Punto which is a small car model and priced in the same range at which Tata Motors plans to launch Tata Indigo Vista.

The company hopes that Tata Indigo Vista will be a stunner for the B+ segment sedan market as it offers more amount of space, advanced features that a C segment sedan offers, new stylish looks with a low price tag which will surely attract the people who are looking for a 3 box sedan car and want to spend lesser amount for it.

Tata Indigo Vista will be launched with both petrol and diesel models - Its petrol model will be packed with a 1.4L, 1396cc petrol engine that is currently powering Fiat Grande Punto on the other hand its diesel models will be powered by a Fiat's famous 1.3L, 1248cc, multijet diesel engine which currently powering its recently launched small car model Fiat Grande Punto. Tata Motors indicates that Tata Indigo Vista will be launched in the Indian market by the end of this July or in the month of September.
