World's largest auto manufacturer, Toyota Motors is ready for its most premium SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle), Toyota Fortuner launch in Indian market. Few days back Toyota Motors were announced that they are going to launch this most awaited SUV in Indian market on 24th of August. Toyota Fortuner launch is going to take place tomorrow but the hype surrounding of this premium SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) is much more than any SUV launch in India, as this model already gains much popularity at global market because for its highly advanced features, luxuries, comfort with sporty and stylish look. Toyota has made sure that everyone is talking about Toyota Fortuner, by its promos and social media activities. Toyota Fortuner launch is going to take place tomorrow but company's official still refused to say about the exact pricing of Toyota Fortuner but they indicates that it will be launched in premium SUV segment and it will be available in the range of Rs 18 to 20 lacs.

In Indian market, Toyota planned to launch Toyota Fortuner with both petrol and diesel engine option. Toyota Fortuner will also be available with automatic transmission option. The petrol version of Toyota Fortuner will be equipped with 2.7L, 2694cc, VVT-i (Variable Valve Timing Intelligent) engine with EFI (Electronic Fuel Injection) technology. This engine delivers high engine performance with excellent acceleration and better fuel efficiency so that Toyota Fortuner can cross the 100kmph mark in just 9.8 second and it can touch the top speed mark of 172kmph. This petrol engine equipped Toyota Fortuner offers mileage around 5.8kmpl mileage in city while on highway it gives mileage 9.6kmpl. The diesel version of Toyota Fortuner will be equipped with 3.0L, 2982cc, Direct Injection Common Rail Diesel engine that also offers high engine performance with maximum power of 163PS that results great acceleration with smooth riding and high fuel efficiency. This engine makes Toyota Fortuner able to cross the 100kmph mark in just 9.6 seconds and to touch maximum speed mark of 176kmph. This engine also deliver better fuel efficiency in comparison to petrol engine and offers 6.7kmpl mileage in city while 11kmpl mileage on highway.

Toyota Fortuner will be launched in Indian market by the Toyota Kirloskar Motors which is joint venture between leading Japanese auto manufacturer Toyota Motor Corporation and Kirloskar Group. With the Toyota Fortuner launch company plans to makes its strong presence also in premium SUV segment which is currently dominated by Ford Endeavour, Honda CRV and Chevrolet Captiva.
