Chevrolet Cruze ready to launch in India

World’s largest auto manufacturer General Motors ready to launch its most awaited luxury C segment sedan model Chevrolet Cruze in Indian market. The company official announced the launch date of Chevrolet Cruze, he said that company plans to launch this most awaited sedan model in Indian market on 12th October. In last few months, there were some big launches in Indian market including Fiat Linea, Mahindra Xylo, Fiat Punto, Honda Jazz, Hyundai i20, Maruti Ritz, Maruti Zen and recently launched Toyota Fortuner. And General Motors also want to makes it presence strong here in every segment. The exact pricing of this car is not yet disclosed but company official indicates that all variants of Chevrolet Cruze will be priced in the range of Rs 10 to 12 lacs. General Motors decided this highly competitive price range for this C+ segment car to compete other popular models of this segment like Honda Civic and Skoda Laura which currently dominate this segment.

                        
                                                                                                                                                    
General Motors planning to launch Chevrolet Cruze with both petrol and diesel engine option. The petrol version of Chevrolet Cruze will be powered by the 1.6L, 1598cc, DOHC petrol engine offers that is able to produce 113bhp of maximum power at 6400rpm with 153Nm of maximum torque at 4200rpm. Some variants of Chevrolet Cruze might also be launched with more powerful and higher capacity petrol engine. These variants will be packed with a 1.8L, 1796cc, DOHC petrol engine that produces 141bhp of maximum power at 6200rpm with 176Nm of maximum torque at 3800rpm. On the other hand diesel variants of Chevrolet Cruze will powered by the 2.0L, 1991cc, SOHC diesel engine that produces 150bhp of maximum power at 4000rpm with 320Nm of maximum torque at 2000rpm. This engine delivers high engine performance with great acceleration so that car never vibrates even at the speed of 130kmph and it can touch the top speed mark of 184kmph.

Chevrolet Cruze is an stylish and much luxurious sedan model that features a bold stylish front with aggressive front grille and large sporty headlamp housings which is wrap around the front corners and sweep up like arrow, into the fenders with sculpted hood. The other attractive features of Chevrolet Cruze include the concave shoulder line and a "Wheels-Out Body-In" feature that gives it much stylish and sporty look.
