Today on 25th August, India's largest passenger car manufacturer ans second largest passenger car exporter Maruti Suzuki India Ltd has launched the newer version of its popular mid segment hatchback model Maruti Zen with the new fuel efficient KB-series petrol engine, new features and with the new stylish looks. Maruti has launched the all new Maruti Zen Estilo with the petrol engine options and its all variants are available at the price range of Rs 3.11 lacs to Rs 3.95 lacs (as ex-showroom prices in New Delhi). From the past few months Indian auto market faces number of new launches in small hatchback car segment that increased the competition in this segment. Also Hyundai Santro and General Motors' Chevrolet Spark which are available at very competitive price tag which is lower than the older version of Maruti Zen, highly affected the overall sales of Maruti Zen. So that to boost up the sales of Zen Estilo and to make its position stronger in small hatchback segment, Maruti has launched the all new Maruti Zen Estilo.

The new Maruti Zen Estilo is packed with the Maruti's KB-Series petrol engine which is currently powering two other models of Maruti, like Maruti A-Star and Maruti Ritz and it gains much popularity in Indian market since its launch because of its high performance and for delivering high fuel efficiency. The all new Maruti Zen is powered by the new 998cc, 3-cylinder, K10B petrol engine with MPFI (Multi Point Fuel Injection) fuel system which is able to produce 68PS of maximum power at 6200rpm and 90Nm of maximum torque at 3500rpm. This light weight petrol engine which has just 47kgm of dry weight, makes Zen Estilo a fuel efficient car in its segment. The new Maruti Zen Estilo offers mileage around 19.2 kmpl while the older version of this car gives 17.3kmpl mileage. Maruti has done the great job to give new Maruti Zen a new stylish look. The length of new Maruti Zen is bit more than the older version of Maruti Zen. The interiors of Maruti Zen is available with two colors chocolate and beige and other features that are available with this car are anti theft alarm, ABS (Antilock Brake System), etc.
