Today on 9th September, India's leading auto manufacturer Ford India has launched the newer version of its most popular SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) model, Ford Endeavour in Indian market with new design and with five speed automatic transmission in 3.0L Ford Endeavour and with an array of new features. Toyota has recently launched its global model Toyota Fortuner in Indian market and also there is tough competition in premium SUV segment as Honda CRV and Chevrolet Captiva was already makes its presence in this segment and Hyundai also plans to launch it premium SUV Hyundai Santa Fe in Indian market. Ford has launched new Ford Endeavour with some cosmetic changes and with some additional features and automatic transmission option to make its position stronger in premium SUV segment.

Ford has launched Ford Endeavour with two variants - one with 2.5L engine and with 5-speed manual transmission which is priced at Rs 15.99 lacs (as ex-showroom prices in New Delhi) and another one with 3.0L engine with 5 speed automatic transmission which is priced at Rs 17.99 lacs (as ex-showroom prices in New Delhi).

The all new Ford Endeavour features new more stylish exteriors with a new-look front design with a multi-bar chrome grille and chrome-accented lower grille and new sporty head lamps which is placed next to the grille that make its front much aggressive.

At the launching ceremony of the new Ford Endeavour, Michael Boneham, president & managing director, Ford India said, "The Ford Endeavour has established itself as an indisputable leader in the premium SUV segment market. With its contemporary new design look, the dominant toughness of Ford Endeavour has never been more appealing and we believe that it will set new benchmarks in its segment."

Ford India already got huge success in mid-sized sedan model Ford Ikon and Ford Fiesta and with the launch of newer version of Ford Endeavour, company shows how desperately they are working on to make its presence stronger also in the premium SUV segment.
