Today on 15th September, Leading auto manufacturer Honda has launched the newer version of its most popular sedan model Honda City in Indian market. The new Honda City is packed with some new features and with brand new beige interiors. Honda has also launched two new variant of Honda City which is named Honda City V MT for manual transmission and Honda City V AT for Automatic transmission variant. Honda has launched the all new Honda City as a part of Great Honda Fest Promotion. The variant of Honda City (V MT and V AT) are packed with some new exciting features like 5-Spoke Alloy Wheels and Front Fog Lamp that makes it more stylish and offer better visibility. Honda has launched the all new Honda City with new price tag and now its all variants are priced in the range of Rs 8.37 lacs to Rs 9.54 lacs (as ex-showroom prices in New Delhi).
The all new Honda City now offers more stylish and aggressive look in comparison to its previous version. Some of the new features that are added to the exteriors of new Honda City are new Chrome Door Handles, New Sporty Exhaust Finisher, and stylish front and Rear Mud Guard. Honda has made some changes also in the interiors of newer version of Honda City that are new stylish beige interiors with beige fabric seats, dual front tweeters, front seat back pocket, silver colored fan knob, painted inner door handles, door lining garnish and stylish power window panels. honda has introduced an additional color option for new Honda City which is Deep Sapphire Blue but this color will be available for a limited period during festive season along with the existing color range.
Honda City is powered by the newer generation 1.5L, 1497cc, 4-Cylinder i-Vtec petrol engine which is well known for delivering high engine performance and better fuel efficiency. This 1.5L, 1497cc petrol engine produces 118PS of maximum power with 14.9Kg-m of maximum torque and delivers excellent acceleration. The all new Honda City is loaded with lots of active and passive safety features as standard that includes ABS (antilock brake System) with EBD (Electronic Brake-Force Distribution) and with BA (Brake Assist) that ensures that car will never be skid out of control in case of emergency braking. Its Dual Front SRS Airbags, Pre-tensioner seat belts and G-CON (G-Force Control) technology offers security in case of collision
Honda City is the most popular sedan model in its segment and company has sold around 38,000 units of this car since its launch in September last year. the company Presiden and CEO, Masahiro Takedagawa said, “We are happy to launch this new V-Grade of Honda City in response to our discerning customers’ feedback. With the recently launched Honda Jazz, the refreshed new Honda Civic and now this V-Grade Honda City , we have a whole new line-up for all our customers to choose from.”
