After the huge success of Fiat Linea, FIAL (Fiat India Automobile Limited), a joint venture between Italian auto major Fiat and India's largest auto manufacturer Tata Motors, now going to launch new Fiat Linea which will be powered by the more powerful engine. The company plans to launch this new variant of Fiat Linea in the month of January next year. Fiat Linea is already a successful sedan model in Indian market and it continously giving tough competition to Honda City, and the new more powerful variant of this car will surely make its position stronger in mid-sized sedan segment. The new Fiat Linea T-Jet will be powered by the more powerful 1.4L, petrol engine and it will deliver excellent acceleration and engine performance.

Fiat Linea PicturesThe new variant of Fiat Linea T-Jet will be equipped with the 1.4L, petrol engine that can produce 120PS of maximum power at 5000rpm with 206Nm of maximum torque at 1750rpm. This powerful engine delivers excellent acceleration so that the car can cross the mark of 100kmph in just 9.2 seconds and it can touch the top speed mark of 200kmph. This 206Nm of impressive torque low down in this rev range would also enhance the fuel efficiency of Fiat Linea in comparison to currently available 1.4L powered car as we don't need to rev the car much to move and it can simply ride the torque most of the time within the city.

Currently, Fiat Linea is available with 1.3L, Multijet diesel engine and a 1.4L petrol engines. Some of the other features that will be added on the newer version of Fiat Linea will be the Hill Holder funtion holds the cars from rolling backwards in case of you take your foot off the pedal, rain sensing wipers, reverse parking assistance and stylish automatic headlamps.

Fiat also plans to exports its popular models Fiat Punto and Fiat Linea to overseas market from next year. After the launch the new Fiat Linea T-Jet will be the first car in Indian auto market which will be packed with turbocharged petrol engine.
