Maruti Eeco Price

India’s largest passenger car manufacturer Maruti is ready to launch another model Maruti Eeco in the Indian market in B segment. According to the company official, the launch of Maruti Eeco will replace the company’s low selling and almost extinct model Maruti Versa. The company, however, not yet disclosed its exact prices but company official said that Maruti Eeco price will fall in highly competitive price range. buyers and to compete with other cars of this segment. According to the company official Maruti Eeco will be available with five seater and seven seater options. It is expected that the car will be launched at the Delhi Auto Expo in the first week of January 2010. The Maruti Eeco price will fall in the range of Rs 3.5 to 5 lacs.

Maruti is known as the market leader in the entry level car market in India as its all models Maruti 800, Maruti Alto, Maruti Omni, Maruti A Star, Maruti Wagon R, Maruti Ritz, Maruti Swift and Maruti Swift Dzire. But from past few years its MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) model Maruti Versa is not doing well so the company decided to introduce Maruti Eeco as an replacement of Maruti Versa with comparatively lower price tag. According to the company official Maruti Eeco price will be lower than Maruti Versa as company plans to target entry level customers with this car.

Maruti Eeco will be powered by the high performance 1.2L, 1196cc MPFI (Multi Point Fuel Injection) petrol engine with five speed manual transmission gearbox. This engine can produce maximum power of 73bhp at 6000rpm with 101Nm of maximum torque at 3000rpm. Maruti has already got the huge success in the Indian passenger car market with its affordable andhigh performance cars. The advanced features, with exciting interiors and exterior and the competitive Maruti Eeco price for its segment is expected to give it immense start.
