The car-maker Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced a special edition of the much loved Toyota Innova. The multi-purpose vehicle Innova’s special edition would be priced at Rs 8.87 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The company has sold over 2.26 lakh units of the Innova since its launch in 2005. It is currently available in four variants in a price range of Rs 8.15 lakh to Rs 11.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
Toyota Innova has been hailed as a reliable and well accepted MUV in its class and this move by Toyota motors comes at a time when Toyota Innova has completed five years in the market. So, what is new in the ‘limited edition’ Toyota Innova. This all new special edition Toyota Innova would have a newly designed bumper, front grill and rear door varnish and the car will be available in one colour – premium super white. This all new Toyota Innova special edition would be available at Toyota dealerships between now and September.
Toyota Motors informed that there would be only 700 units sold of the special edition Toyota Innova, which has successfully completed five years since its launch in the Indian market. According to TKM Deputy Managing Director Sandeep Singh, “The Innova has been highly appreciated by our customers and has been the market leader in the MPV segment ever since its launch in 2005. We are focused on constantly upgrading our products based on customer feedback and are now delighted to introduce the all-new edition of the Innova.” TKM is a joint venture between Toyota and the Kirloskar Group.
