The Indian luxury car buyers are being spoilt for choice as almost every major luxury car maker is launching a new product in the Indian market. After Bentley, Bugatti and Mercedes, launching high end models, the next carmaker to enter the Indian luxury car market with a new model is the much coveted Porsche. Porsche has brought the Porsche Cayenne, one of its most successful models to India.
The Cayenne amounts for about 80 percent of the company’s annual sales and with this in mind, the company is offering a new Porsche Cayenne. The luxury car would have five different engine types including V6, Porsche Cayenne diesel, Porsche Cayenne S Hybrid, Porsche Cayenne S and Porsche Cayenne Turbo.
The new Cayenne would come with new improvements like a weight loss of about 200 kg, ample leg room and better interiors. This in turn leads to a higher price. The car is being expected to be priced at, from Rs.65 lakh and above. The new Porsche India has scheduled the launch of the new Porsche Cayenne by third week of July in India.

Apart from the Cayenne, Porsche also offers the Porsche 911 GT2 RS. The car comes with a 3600cc twin variable turbo powered, 620 bhp unit at a price of Rs 1.5 crore. The Porsche 911 GTS RS is imported into the country and is available against confirmed bookings in the country. The car does the 0-100 sprint in just 3.5 seconds and touches 200 kmph in 9.8 seconds with a top speed of 330 kmph.
Super car, Bentley Continental is also available in the country with a price tag of Rs. 2.25 crores (ex-showroom). The car comes with a Quickshift transmission and can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 3.7 seconds. Bentley is all set to launch other models in the country too. And recently, the country saw the launch of Bentley Mulsanne in India for an astonishing Rs 2.9 crore. The Mulsanne comes in 625 colours and can be customized. It is the car’s 6.8 litre twin-turbo V8 engine that gives it the qualities, most desired in such a car.
The most expensive of the lot is however the Bugatti Veyron at a mind boggling price of Rs 15 – 16 crore. Veyron is powered by an 8-litre, 16-cylinder engine capable of producing 1001 PS or 989 bhp. The car has a crazy top speed of 407 kmph and can accelerate from 0-100 kph in 2.5 seconds.
