Maruti Suzuki seems to be in full swing launching a long list of Special Editions recently. The company launched a limited version of Maruti Swift, a popular hatchback from Maruti Suzuki India today.
The limited edition has been fondly named as "Swift One million edition" by the company and would be available in an attractive "Goldsmith Black" color across India. The new Maruti Swift would come loaded with smart and attractive features like splendid graphics, special integrated stereo with USB and speakers, luxurious leather seats, cushions, foot-mats and an artistic decal on the exteriors. The launch of this limited edition comes as a mark of celebration as the company rolled out its millionth car early this year.

Maruti has selected the Swift to be launched in a limited edition version in commemoration as the one millionth car to roll out from the plant at Manesar was the Swift. The company is extremely elated at the occasion and Mayank Pareek, Managing Executive Officer (Marketing and Sales) exclaimed that it is indeed a proud moment for them. He also added that Maruti Swift One Million Edition is the company's gesture to show gratitude to the customers who have strongly supported them in their journey to reach this milestone of one million sales in one year.
Mr Pareek elaborated on the main features and value additions in the limited edition Maruti Swift. The car has aesthetics of a commemorative edition and the characteristic body graphics have retained the look and feel of a Sporty hatchback. He commented with great pride that the model has everything to please the selected owners.

As of now 1000 units of this lmited edition would be offered and would be available in Vxi version (Petrol) at a price of Rs. 483,079 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Maruti Swift is the leader in the A2 car segment in the Indian automobile market and is Maruti's world strategic model as it swayed a new aggressive design philosophy globally. Ever since its launch in 2005, Maruti Swift has commanded an unprecedented leadership in the segment and paced towards the distinction of chieving the fastest ever 2 Lakh sales in 35 months and fastest 3 Lakhs sales in 46 months.
Maruti Swift has won many accolades at national and international platforms including the title of Super car of the year across 11 countries, that included India.
