Fiat Linea T Jet to launch tomorrow

Fiat Linea, the comeback launch from FIAL (Fiat India Automobiles Limited), is all set to get a refurbished engine with loads of cosmetic changes, a true facelift tomorrow in India. The company as expected has kept the details under wrap, but it is expected that would be shelved in an attractive price range of Rs 8 to 9 lakhs.The new Fiat Linea T Jet was earlier exhibited at the Delhi Auto expo 2010 and received welcoming responses from the buyers in India. The all new Fiat Linea T Jet would be sporting a 1.4L turbo charged petrol engine that would shell out 113bhp at 5000rpm and a striking torque of 207Nm at 2200 rpm onwards.

Acceleration and pick up would be impressive with Fiat Linea T Jet zooming from 0-100 kmph in 11.14 seconds and reaching to a top speed of 186 kmph.

In terms of looks the car would be much on the track of Italian design followed by its predecessors. T Jet would indeed be the first turbocharged petrol engine in India from FIAT, while it would be the second petrol engine to be launched in India that comes with a turbocharger.
