Hyundai Motors India Pvt. Ltd launched the eagerly awaited SUV Hyundai Santa Fe in India on Wednesday amidst tremendous buyer enthusiasm and industry expectations. The car has been launched in two variants shelved in an attractive price bracket of Rs 20.95 – 22.95 lakh (ex-showroom New Delhi). The 4*2 (two wheel drive) variant is priced at Rs. 20.95 Lacs while the 4*4 four wheel drive variant is shelved at an amount that is approximately 2 Lacs dearer. Hyundai Santa comes with a 2.2L CRDI engine that pumps an excellent power figure of 197 PS @3800 rpm and an impressive torque of 420Nm between 1800-2500 rpm. The Euro V engine with 4 cylinders and 16 valves with DOHC (Double Over Head Camshafts) is known to be more fuel efficient and offers clearer emission on roads. The CRDI technology would help the car to offer greater fuel economy and enhanced power packed performance to its buyers.
