Mercedes Benz R Class to launch tomorrow

Mercedes Benz the leader in the premium car segment in India is all geared to launch its most popular SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) in India, Mercedes Benz R Class tomorrow. The crossover is expected to be shelved in a premium price range of Rs 60 lakh to Rs 65 lakh and would be the first ever crossover launched in India by the automaker. The Indian automobile industry is guzzling with a lot of momentum as the festive season is just round the corner. While various popular cars are getting a face-lift, this would be an all together new car for the Indian roads. The season would also witness a flurry of most awaited car launches including that of Fiat Linea T Jet, Tata Indica Vista, Skoda Yeti, Tata Aria, Hyundai Santa Fe, etc.

Mercedes Benz R Class would be seen sporting a massive 3.5 litre, DOHC, 24 valve, V6 engine and is expected to be coupled with an advanced 7 speed At technology. This all powerful engine would deliver a superb power of 272 bhp at 6,000 rpm and belts out peak torque of 350 Nm at 2400 rpm.
