About 7 years back, Toyota India launched its spacious car, known as Toyota Innova and since then there hasn’t been much of changes to the car. In the year 2009, Toyota Innova got a minute makeover and a little upgradation in engine in the year 2010 that too because of the BS-IV norms. The reason that Toyota Innova got such minimal changes is that it is loaded with qualities, which allows it to be ahead of other cars in the market today. However, there has been a drastic change in the Indian Auto market since past few months, and now Toyota India is planning to give a little make over to Toyota Innova.
According to the rumors in the market, it is expected that Toyota Innova will flaunt a brand new and a little taller grille accompanied with leveled chrome slats, new headlamps, and brand new front bumper along with new clear-lens and fog lamps. Another rumor floating in the Indian Auto market is that the back bumper will come with parking sensors.According to the grapevine, the new Toyota Innova variant will also experience some interiors changes, which might include in new trim, new centre console and many more. However, rumor has it that there will be no motor alterations will be done in the new Toyota Innova.
Besides Toyota Innova, Toyota India is also planning to give a facelift to Toyota Fortuner, which was actually launched about 2 years ago. Toyota Fortuner has been quite a success in domestic as well as international market. The changed, new and improved Toyota Fortuner is expected to flaunt a larger chrome grille accompanied with flat slats, brand new front bumper, bigger headlamps, fresh fog lamps and new rear bumper. Apparently some small changes in the interiors of Toyota Fortuner are also expected.
As per the reports, the new and improved Toyota Innova and Toyota Fortuner are likely to hit the Indian market by the year of 2012 with a slightly increased price. Recently, Toyota India launched a brand new hatchback car, known as Toyota Etios Liva, which is creating waves in the Indian Auto Market. Some of the other popular cars by Toyota India include Toyota Corolla Altis, Toyota Camry, Toyota Etios, Toyota Prius, Toyota Cruiser Prado and Toyota Land Cruiser.
