Nissan Sunny sedan launched at Rs 5.78 lakh

The Japanese auto brand Nissan has launched their brand new sedan, Nissan Sunny in India today. Nissan Sunny is launched in 3 trims chiefly Nissan Sunny XE, Nissan Sunny XL and Nissan Sunny XV. Nissan Sunny price for the base variant, Nissan Sunny XE is tagged at Rs 5.78 lakhs, while the Nissan Sunny XL is priced at Rs 6.68 lakhs and Nissan Sunny XV has been tagged at Rs 7.68 lakhs (ex showroom price).

Nissan Sunny specifications reveal a well-designed executive-class sedan offering spacious interiors with enough leg space in the rear seats as compared to any other sedan in the segment. The sedan boasts of many features aboard like the ABS, which comes as a standard in all the variants. While the base variant Nissan Sunny XE offers just the driver side airbags, the other two variants offer passenger side airbags as well. The push button start and automatic climate control are the other comfort features included in the sedan.

Nissan Sunny is introduced as a petrol variant with 1.5 L engine generating a peak power output of 97 Bhp and a peak torque of 134 Nm. The sedan offers an ARAI certified reasonable mileage of 16.5 kmpl. The sedan has already been introduced in the U.S and the China car markets and the Japanese auto major intends to introduce the diesel variant in near future. As a part of launch, Nissan Sunny website was registered exclusively and was unveiled in Mumbai earlier this month. The other models offered by Nissan India are Nissan X Trail, Nissan Teana, Nissan Micra and Nissan 370Z.
