Hyundai Eon price likely to start at Rs 2.7 lakh

Hyundai India is totally soaked in the work of launching its small car, known as Hyundai Eon. Hyundai Eon will be launching on 13th October. This car is said to be the most affordable car by Hyundai India till now. Speculations suggest that Hyundai Eon price will start from Rs. 2.7 lakh (base variant). Hyundai Eon will be offered in 6 variants, which may comprise of Hyundai Eon D-Lite (O), Hyundai Eon D-Lite, Hyundai Eon Era, Hyundai Eon D-Lite Magna (O), Hyundai Eon Magna and the Hyundai Eon Sportz. Hyundai India has very high expectations from Hyundai Eon and this small car by Hyundai will directly compete with Maruti Alto. Maruti Alto is the bestselling car in this segment and being in competition with it, it would be a little difficult for Hyundai Eon to cope up and have more sales than Maruti Alto.

Hyundai India is expecting Hyundai Eon to be a huge success as soon as it is launched. The Korean car maker has already shipped 7000 Hyundai Eons to numerous dealers across India. As far as the Hyundai Eon review is concerned, Hyundai Eon will come with 814cc 3 cylinder petrol engine, which will produce 56 BHP of power together with 76.5 Nm of torque. The car will also sport 5 speed gearbox and will give a decent mileage of 21.1 km per litre. However, the minus point here is Hyundai Eon will not have power steering and AC in the Hyundai Eon D-Lite version to keep it affordable. The top variant, which is Hyundai Eon Sportz will sport airbags, music system, and many other luxury features. Hyundai Eon pictures make it obvious that Hyundai India has worked very hard on its looks too. On the whole, Hyundai Eon seems like a technically sound and affordable car.
