Maruti Ertiga coming this January to lock horns with Innova

Maruti India is all ready to launch its new MPV, Maruti Ertiga in January 2012. It is being said that Maruti Ertiga will directly give a challenge to the most prominent MPV in India, Toyota Innova. However, other multipurpose vehicles in India include Tata Aria, Mahindra new Bolero, Mahindra XUV 500 and Force One.

Maruti India is expected to showcase its new MPV in India in the month of January 2012. Last year at the Auto Expo, Maruti India displayed the RIII concept, which is now known as Ertiga now. Till now, there are no details about Maruti Ertiga, but the pricing rumors are in the air these days. It is being said that the new Maruti Ertiga will have a price tag ranging from Rs 6 to Rs 9 lakh, which will directly compete with Mahindra Xylo and Toyota Innova.The designers who actually developed the Maruti Ertiga say that Maruti Ertiga will certainly give a stiff competition to its competitors and  will come with a lucrative price tag. Maruti Ertiga has a capacity to adjust 7 adults very comfortably and has much larger wheel base accompanied with higher stance. All these features make Maruti Ertiga a perfect family car with an affordable price.

The technical features of Maruti Ertiga include 1.3 litre of geometry turbo diesel motor taken from Maruti SX4, roof mounted air conditioning vents for better cooling, and 1372 cc of engine produces 95 BHP of power, which is pretty decent. In all it seems that Maruti Ertiga will surely become one of the favorites of the consumers as soon as it is launched in the country. After all, Maruti India is the largest car maker of the country and it knows what its consumers need.
