More details emerge on 2012 Honda CR-V

Good news from Honda Motors is that the Honda CR-V launch will take place just as planned. The recent floods haven’t pushed the auto major deep into the mud as expected. They are trying to get the situation into their hands to bring the smile back on the consumers . The new Honda CR-V launch will take place just as expected. Initially, it is going to the USA launch, followed by the India launch. The year end is when the USA launch is slated and to be more specific during the Los Angeles Auto show and the one of our friends are lucky enough to get their hands on the new model before it goes live in front of the public. And whats more? They have been telling never ending stories covering all the minute details on the new SUV since then.

Actually, the new SUV is not much of a deviation from what we have seen earlier this year. As expected, the SUV is amplified in proportions. The trapezoidal grille on the front is redesigned and the same goes with the front bumper. The wheels are more wider to improve the grip on the roads. The interiors are more spread out and spacious at same time not compromising on the boot space. The dashboard covers the essentials including all the modern gadgets. The steering mounted audio controls and the navigation controls are properly laid out right in front of the driver to avoid distraction. The display screens on the central console to keep the passengers up to date on whats playing on the music player .

The new Honda CR-V will be powered by the 2.4 L and a 2.5 L petrol engine under the hood, while it is the European and the India bound model which will come affixed with the 2.2 L diesel engine as per the Indian market demands.  As with the facelift, the 2012 Honda CR-V price will definitely go up, but how much, is left for the consumers to guess.
