Mahindra XUV 500 bookings to re-open from January 25th

If you are a great fan of Mahindra XUV500 here is a good news delivered by Mahindra and Mahindra with the potential to jump your senses. After an overwhelming response at the last go, the Mahindra XUV 500 will be back with a bang with the bookings to restart from January 25^th onwards. But, the auto major is implementing extreme precautions this time keeping the bookings open only for 10 days. Unlike before, when the XUV500 was only  within reach for the SUV enthisiasts only in the top metros the company has decided to exceed their expectation getting down to 19 cities in all. The top metros will however be there like Hyderabad, Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Bangalore, Kolkata, while this time they are banking on the affluent sales from the cities like Ahmedabad, Coimbatore, Trissur, Pune, Nagpur, Nasik, Trivandrum, Calicut, Kochi, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Patiala and Chandigarh.

Unwilling to repeat the disappointment faced by the potential consumers from last time, the car manufacturer now hopes to keep them warm and happy with a unique strategy this time. They hope to implement a draw system if the bookings cross the 7,200 mark.  This way the late comers will gain the unextended waiting period to ensure the deliveries on time to avoid the history being repeated all over once again. Mahindra XUV500 when launch in last September had to undergo the same fate when the bookings were open of for limited days as the company was out with the initial production lot with the unexpected 10,000 bookings within the first few days of the launch. However, this time the company has tied up with a firm called Deloitte to have the lucky draw system introduced to avoid the consumers go empty-handed. However as with any good news there underlies a twist which is the now increased Mahindra XUV 500 price to creep up further from the introductory price of Rs 10.69 lakh it was launched last year.
