Fiat India is the Italian car manufacturer which is consistently fighting hard to make its position in the Indian car market. Fiat cars in India include Fiat 500, hatchback Fiat Punto and sedan Fiat Linea. Fiat Punto and Fiat Linea play a major role in the overall sales of Fiat cars in India. It is expected that Fiat would introduce its facelift version of Fiat Linea. This Fiat Linea is being manufactured in Turkey. Facelift version of Fiat Linea would be totally upgraded in terms of interiors and exteriors. Fiat Linea pictures reveal that this facelift version is likely to have new head lamps and tail lamps, new front and rear bumpers and a lip spoiler.

It is also speculated that Linea 1.3L engine would be slightly tuned to render better fuel efficiency and low carbon dioxide emissions. The petrol car variant of current Fiat Linea renders a mileage of 12kmpl in city while on highway it gives 16kmpl of mileage. On the other hand diesel car variants of Fiat Linea offer 14kmpl mileage in city and 19kmpl mileage on highway. It can be expected that this facelift version of Fiat Linea would render a mileage of around 17 to 20kmpl. The current Fiat Linea price is tagged of 7.83 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi).

Fiat Linea facelift version could make its way in the market of Russia and South America because Fiat has a better market presence in the car market of these countries as compared to India. Before the 2013 Fiat Linea, the more recent upcoming cars that are lined up for their individual launches are Tata Safari Storme, Renault Duster, Audi Q3, Premier Rio Diesel, New Hyundai Elantra, New Chevrolet Captiva, BMW 3 Series and Volkswagen Jetta petrol.
