Famous for producing the world's most brawny vehicles that are designed to rule every terrain that they set foot on. Enveloping the perfect blend of mighty and flashy, the new Range Rover is a member of the fourth generation of Rovers. And besides other first-time innovations that it houses, it is the first ever SUV car to be built upon a complete Aluminium monocoque chassis that makes it quite light and easy-to-handle drive. With a number of amazing upgrades and modifications, this latest Land Rover Range Rover is going to make its debut in the European markets in 2013, once it gets unveiled at the upcoming Paris Motor Show. While India expects to welcome the SUV by the beginning of the year 2013, nothing has been made official yet. Also, the price of the Range Rover is yet to be revealed, but an extravagant price tag is what is being speculated for the high-end model.

Flaunting a fresh and smart make-over on the outside, a glimpse of the Evoque and other prevailing Land Rovers can be easily caught in the
new Range Rover features. A massive Clamshell bonnet that ends in a redesigned stylish front grille and a considerably flatter front bumper, together provide an exquisite classy touch to the muscular machine. Although the headlamps and taillamps have been directly adopted from the Evoque, the fog lamps have undergone some serious designing to show a more rectangular shape that harmonizes well with the similarly-shaped headlights. Other traits that have been carried forward by the Range Rover from the earlier generations include the split tail-gates and the floating roof that make it instantly recognizable as a Rover. As for the new Aluminium structure, it serves to reduce the weight of the utility straight away by 420kg in comparison with the current model. This results in reducing the carbon content, lowering the aerodynamic drag by 10% and significantly improving the efficiency of the car at the same time.

Continuing with the stream of modifications on the inside as well, the Range Rover receives a stylish wood finish along with a trendy brown and beige twin-tone in the cockpit area. The steering has been redesigned and so has the touchscreen system and the gear-shifter which now has a rising knob form just like the JLR and Evoque. Keeping the elite in mind, the Land Rover now provides the option of having a two-seat Executive Class seating package in the Range Rover along with the fascinating 1700W
Meridian surround sound music system paired with nothing less than 27 speakers. Talking about the luxurious interiors, it is practically useless to mention that there is no limit to the amount of room that the occupants are going to enjoy in this SUV with immense leg room for the ultimate comfort.

Coming to the engine, the Range Rover has three choices to offer in this area. Inheriting the 4.4-litre V8 and 5.0-litre supercharged petrol mills, a 3.0-litre V6 diesel engine has also joined the party now providing a better versatility to the vehicle. And to keep up with these fabulous engines, a new 8-speed self-shifting ZF transmission gearbox has also been included in the machinery. Besides all of these amazing features, the new Range Rover also gets the next-generation Land Rover Terrain Response system that automatically senses and adjusts the drive to enable an exceptionally effortless handling. I shared that
