Luxury, extravagance, elegance and sophistication. These are the adjectives that pop into one's mind as soon as the word 'Mercedes' comes up. Well, that's about to change as far as the Indian minds are concerned. Known for turning every head that it passes on its way, the German royalty-machine, Mercedes Benz is all set to present the Indian roads with their very first sports car ever. The Mercedes Benz B Class Sports Tourer is going to mark the beginning of a never-seen-before luxury segment in the country. Unveiled at the famous Buddh International Circuit in Noida, this flag-bearer model will be launched on the 18th of September. Although it has been around in the international markets for a long time now, this is the first time that it would be setting foot on the Indian soil. And the credit for this clearly goes to the ever-growing demand for more regal vehicles in India that has already led the luxury segment to turn into a state of turmoil. With Mercedes Benz B Class price expected to be somewhere below Rs 25 lakh, it is going to be the least expensive member of the Benz family till date.

Where looks are concerned, Mercedes Benz B Class pictures show a characteristically sporty grilled front in Avantgarde style with the company's three-point star tucked right in the center. Complementing these sporty looks are its sharply carved bi-xenon headlamps with day-light running lights and turn indicators in a trendy LED pattern. In the side profile, the sports tourer gets reasonably sized 5 bi-spoke alloys wheels that harmonize quite well with its large wheel arches. As for the rear, a clear glimpse of E Class estate can be caught there. Overall, this latest Mercedes flagship looks like a stretched out hatch flaunting the aggression and swiftness of a sports car.
