The majority of car manufacturers are toiling hard to mark a remarkable entry or to grab an extra chunk of the Indian market by launching special editions of their existing models. A reputed brand like Fiat is also in the same line of the companies changing their strategies to improve sales. The Italian automaker has been working in India since a very long time and since then, it has gone through many odds. With the launch of Fiat Linea and Punto in the market, it has given a new dimension to its line of cars.
The Italian conglomerate has launched its luxurious sedan - Fiat Linea T-Jet in India. Fiat exhibits a thoughtful incorporation of the latest technology in its models to offer a perfect automotive experience to its owners. Launched in 2007, Linea has been marketed as a sedan for developing countries. The existing model of Linea is a perfect example of exceptional body design equipped with all the high quality of fit and finish to make it all the more classy and sophisticated. Each and every details of the car speaks about the large size luxury in it. In India the Italian maker sells Linea into three models- Active, Dynamic and Emotion the top notch trim. Now they had introduced the T-Jet line of Linea, named as Linea T-Jet that would be marketed in both the top notch variants- Dynamic and Emotion. Both these variants will boast a 1.4-liter T-Jet mill that is expected to expound a much improved power delivery. The Fiat Linea T-Jet price in India is Rs 7.87 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the base model. While the Dynamic and the Emotion trim has been priced at Rs 8.73-lakh and Rs 9.11 lakh respectively.
Right from the beginning of the year, there has been a lot of activity in the Italian marquee of Fiat. And that simple activity is gradually taking the form of absolute chaos that the auto-giant is ready to unleash on the Indian markets. What began with the unveiling ceremony of 2012 Fiat Linea at the Indian Auto Expo in January, has now reached the launch of some really high-tech festival versions of both, the Linea and the Grande Punto. Already known for their best-in-class gadgetry, these two cars have come in with a few brand-new and even better host of fitments that are usually flaunted by luxury-machines alongside their extravagant price tags. But as far as these 'Absolute' versions are concerned, Fiat India has brought in the Absolute versions with no extra cost. The current Fiat Linea price in India starts from Rs. 6.96 lakh to Rs. 9.35 lakh and for the Fiat Grande Punto price in India lies between Rs. 4.90 lakh to Rs. 7.36 lakh (prices mentioned are ex-showroom New Delhi).
Everybody knows that Indian car bazaar is one of the most thriving and flourishing car market across the globe. Almost every global car brand is investing in the Indian car market and trying to woo consumers in every possible way. Every auto firm wishes its sales graph to go higher and higher every day, every month. To work on this graph, companies are trying to cajole the consumers by doling out new features in their cars. These days, big auto giants such as Volkswagen, Ford, Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai and Toyota are literally working their hearts out to woo customers at every level. They keep their products in the news, just with the help of introducing a feature or two, and grab the news highlights.Recently, many cars have been introduced with little facelifts and made the news like forest-fire. Let’s start with India’s biggest car company Maruti Suzuki. The firm of late launched Maruti A-Star’s face-lifted version, which was sprinkled with new and improved upholstery on the front seats, new alloy wheels and the much needed anti-lock braking system along with airbag option. It did help the firm to get its sales a notch higher than before.
All new Fiat Punto hatchback and Fiat Linea sedan finally arrives in the country before the much awaited automobile event, Auto Expo 2012, which would be held in New Delhi from 7th to 11th January 2011. No extreme makeover has been given to these Fiat cars, but both the cars come with some notable changes. Fiat Punto and Fiat Linea come powered with the standard 1.3 litre of diesel engine, which churns out the perfect amount of power and torque that in turns increases the fuel efficiency of the cars.
Fiat is an Italian automaker company which is manufacturing cars in India in collaboration with Tata India. This Tata-Fiat joint venture has not generated significant sales in India so this venture seems to be in jeopardy. In order to turn the odds in favor, Fiat is planning to open its standalone showrooms and service Centre in India. This may increase the revenue and pull the company from the crises resulted from the failed alliances with Tata motors. Fiat India Automobiles Limited (FIAL) has launched its most popular small car model Fiat Punto called, "Fiat Punto 90 HP" on July 16, 2010. Fiat Linea was launched on October 8, 2010. It is available in two variants namely Fiat Linea T Jet and Fiat Linea T Jet Plus. Launch of these models was no big success and it failed to earn goodwill or popularity for Fiat India.
Fiat India's masterpiece, Fiat Linea, marking its second innings in the Indian automobile industry got a facelift today, packed as Fiat Linea T Jet. The launch took place in the country's financial capital Mumbai amidst the esteemed presence of the original ambassador of beauty with substance, Sushmita Sen. Fiat Linea has tasted sweet ever since its launch in 2009 and with Indians all geared up to enthrall markets this festive season, Fiat seems to be making just the right move to gift a much powerful sibling to the buyers. The all new Fiat Linea T Jet will share the same body shell as its other variants but would be blessed with an additional T badge. The car is sure to give Honda City, Hyundai Verna Transform, Maruti SuzukiSX4, Volkswagen Vento and other contemporaries in its genre a tough fight for sales.
Volkswagen and Fiat, the two popular and trusted auto makers are soon to launch their much hyped cars in the sedan segment. Fiat would launch Fiat Linea T Jet in the month of July'2010 that would be priced in the bracket of Rs 7 to 9 lakhs.
