Maruti Suzuki India Limited, India’s largest car manufacture recently released the much awaited Maruti SX4 Diesel version. With the release, Maruti SX4 Diesel in the very first week got 5000 bookings for the Diesel Version. Like the other versions, Diesel version has managed to be the leader among the other products from the same company. For the matter of fact, company expected to touch 2000 mark within 2 days of the release and was successful in attaining it.

The Maruti SX4 Diesel version was launched this year on 22 February. This car is available in different models and colors with a price tag of 7.74 Lakhs (Ex-Showroom price). Maruti SX4 is also available in Petrol and CNG segments. Speaking about the features, it has DD is super turbo engine which delivers 90 PS at 4000 RPM. Maximum torque attainable is 200 Nm for 1750 RPM. Other competitors in this segment are Hyundai’s Verna and Fiat’s Linea.

Maruti Suzuki, the unquestioned leader in the Indian auto industry is expected to take its auto firm to one hand above. As per a reliable source Maruti SX4 the savvy sedan is all set to replace Ambassdor which was a symbol of the Indian governmnet. The source further says that Delhi police took this step to swap the Ambassador with the new age Maruti SX4.

BK Gupta the Commissioner of Police Delhi, stated that the decision was taken because of the lucrative sedan in mind. Maruti SX4 the sedan comes with fuel efficient car and also requires less maintenance. He mentioned that they are looking forward to buy more cars. Till now twelve Maruti SX4 have been received. BK Gupta Commissioner received the first Maruti SX4 replacing Ambassador.

With hybrids and green cars being the thing of tomorrow the country’s largest carmaker does not want to miss out on them. So now the company has come up with the hybrid version of its sedan Maruti SX4. But this is not all and the company has also developed an electric variant of the Maruti Eeco.

Maruti Suzuki claims that the Maruti SX4 hybrid gives 25 per cent more fuel efficiency when put against the conventional petrol version. On the other hand the electric Maruti Eeco has a range of 100 km in a single charge. It is powered by a lithium ion battery-powered engine.

Maruti Suzuki, in its initiative to be associated with the Commonwealth Games national initiative, handed over two Maruti Suzuki SX4 Hybrid and One ‘Eeco Charge’ cars today to Mr Arvinder Singh Lovely, Hon’ble Minister of Transport for NCT Delhi. The vehicles are intended to be used in the upcoming Commonwealth Games and were handed over by Mr. Shinzo Nakanishi, Managing Director and CEO, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, in the city.

Country's largest car maker Maruti Suzuki blessed the Indian buyers with CNG equipped versions of the five most popular models Maruti SX4, Maruti Eeco, Maruti Wagon R, Maruti Zen Estilo and Maruti Alto. The CNG vehicles were unveiled by Mr. Jairam Ramesh, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) Environment and Forests in the presence of senior government dignitaries and Maruti Suzuki management team. The models are being launched in Delhi NCR, Mumbai and Gujrat. With this initiative, the CNG footprint of the company spreads across entry level cars, compact cars, sedans and MPV segments. The models have been shelved in the price range of Rs. 3.23 Lacs for Alto Lxi, Rs. 3.64 Lacs for Eeco 5 seater AC, Rs 7.47 Lacs for SX4 Vxi, Rs 4.11 Lacs for Wagon R Lxi and Rs 4.05 Lacs for Estilo Lxi.
