Renault Pulse Review

Renault India has introduced the petrol variant of their delightful hatchback Renault Pulse in the Indian market. This is a soft launch and the Renault Pulse Petrol Price is starting at Rs. 4.25 lakhs for its entry level variant called as RXE. The company is offering a total of 3 trims in of this petrol variant along with the RXE trim; the other two trims are RXL and the top end RXZ. The Renault Pulse price for the top of the line RXZ trim is Rs.5.55 lakhs (both prices mentioned are ex-showroom New Delhi). This new Renault Pulse Petrol has been blessed with an aggressive styling and has masculine looks to impress the youngest generation and it can be seen in the Renault Pulse pictures.

Not much time later after the announcement Renault India has slipped in the Renault Pulse Petrol in India. Last year, after rolling out the diesel variant of Pulse hatchback, Renault India had revealed its plans of introducing the petrol car variant. This newfangled model is powered with a 1.2 liter 3-cylider petrol engine that is capable of producing a peak power of 76 PS at 600RPM and a peak torque of 104 Nm at 4000 RPM. This three-cylinder in-line petrol, DOHC 12-valve engine is mated to 5-speed manual transmission car. The engine has been adopted by Nissan Micra and this is in perfect accordance with the fact that Pulse hatchback car is basically a rebranded and reskinned version of Micra; these cars are also sharing production facilities.

Renault has unveiled its premium B segment small car Renault Pulse in India on 29^th of October. The company COO Carlos Taveras had pulled the wraps off the third offering from Renault after Renault Fluence and Renault Koleos launched earlier this year out of the five cars to be launched by end of 2012. The Renault Pulse will hit the Indian roads by January 2012. Renault India has not revealed the Renault Pulse price, which is likely to be more or less in the range of Maruti Swift or Ford Figo.
