The delay in the launch of the new Honda City is mainly due to the recent floods in Thailand, which is the home for Honda Motors.

The latest buzz in the Indian car market these days is that Honda India might come with the new face-lifted Honda City by the 3^rd week of November 2011. The same face-lifted Honda City was launched in September in Thailand by Honda Motors.  Earlier, the rumors suggested that the new Honda City will sizzle on the Indian roads around the festive season, but we guess now Honda India will give a miss this month and launch it next month. However, this would surely help Honda India in boosting up its sedan’s sales.

Honda recently launched the new hatchback Brio in Chennai, this hatchback by Honda was one of the most awaited cars by Honda till now. The demand for Honda Brio was so much that people in Chennai are even ready to spend Rs. 9000 extra. The Honda Brio price begins from Rs. 4.04 lakh in Tamil Nadu as due to VAT being higher there, which is 14.5, people need to pay a little higher price. In Delhi, Honda Brio price begins at Rs. 3.95 lakh only. The top end version of Honda Brio in Chennai costs Rs. 5.20 lakh.
