It has been only two weeks that Mitsubishi launched its new SUV, Mitsubishi Pajero in the Indian car market. Now, the Japanese car brand is here with a seven seater version of its much loved SUV, Outlander. Mitsubishi Outlander was originally launched in 2009 in  India with 2.4 litre of engine, which delivered 170PS of peak power along with 226 Nm of maximum torque coupled with six speed automatic transmission. The new seven-seater Mitsubishi Outlander SUV is no different from the previous model, the grille which has a style of fighter jet have enhanced the look of the SUV and made it more robust.

An upgraded Mitsubishi Outlander have unearthed from the stables of Hindustan Motors. The modish and urbane SUV car was launched earlier in the year 2010 . The new Mitsubishi Outlander price is tagged at Rs.20.55 lakh. Mitsubishi Outlander review reveals that the new car has been rolled out with a 2.4L  engine that delivers a 170Ps peak power with  226 Nm torque. The new SUV is apt for both on-road and off-road driving. The new  Outlander is fraught up with features and other smart specifications like keyless entry system, extremely competent Rockford Fosgate premium 710 watt music system with 6 CD changer and USB port.

Mitsubishi is one of the most famous and prominent auto maker in the world and now the firm is all ready to launch its much anticipated SUV, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport in India. The date is still undecided, but rumors suggest that the mew Pajero Sport is expected to arrive in India on 15^th of February 2012. The brand new SUV is actually the 2008 Challenger that has been named as ‘Pajero’ in Asian car market.

Hindustan Motors-Mitsubishi has launched a limited edition of its stylish sports utility vehicle Outlander. The new variant named Outlander Chrome is packed with new stylish and attractive features which enhance its sporty and fashionable looks. Mr. Yoshiaki Wada, HM-Mitsubishi’s Head-Marketing and Channel Development, said, “Outlander Chrome is a unique combination of comfort and class, style and finesse. It is chic yet sturdy with upgraded features and fashionable interiors like large rear spoiler, body coloured side protection moulding, side skirts with chrome inlays, roof mounted DVD player, LED floor illumination lamps etc which will make driving an experience for our customers.”

Carmakers across the world are developing small car models. Last year India saw the launch of a number of small cars and hatchbacks like Ford Figo, Chevrolet Beat, Volkswagen Polo, Nissan Micra etc. Now Mitsubishi has revealed the 'MITSUBISHI Concept Global Small'. The move comes just before its the car was to premiere at the 81st Geneva International Motor Show.

Of the little information available about the car one is regarding the engines used. The car is likely to have 1.0 – 1.2 litre engines with start/stop mechanism and regenerative braking system.

Hindustan Motors has launched Mitsubishi's SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) the all New Montero and its rally sports car Evolution X today at the Autocar Performance Show, 2010 in Mumbai commencing today. The New Montero is is the upgraded model of its previous Mitsubishi Montero whereas the Evo X is inspired from current sedan Mitsubishi Lancer.

New Montero is still available with the same 4-cylinder engine with 3200 cubic capacity with a turbo-diesel engine which is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission gearbox, is BS – 4 compliant with the inclusion of a new catalytic converter and swirl control bulb addition. Its power has increased by 37 bhp to bring the grand total to 199.28 bhp whereas the extra 59NM torque takes the twist force to 450 NM which is more than the previous model.Minor changes have been made in from and rear bumper to make it more stylish. Price for this SUV is expected to be Rs. 38.95 lakh rupees (Ex-showroom in New Delhi).

A number of carmakers are thinking of coming up with compact sports utility vehicles (SUV) and this segment is all set to be the next hottest thing. Among those that are soon going to hit the Indian market are - BMWs much awaited and anticipated baby SUV BMW X1 and Chez carmaker Skoda Auto’s much talked about Skoda Yeti. Skoda Yeti is expected to have a 2.0L, 1968cc, Turbo Charged diesel engine with 5-speed manual transmission gearbox that produces maximum power of 110PS at 4200rpm with 250Nm of maximum torque at 1500-2500rpm. The 6-speed manual transmission gearbox in the 2.0L diesel engine type with advanced Haldex clutch is capable of producing 140PS of maximum power at 4200rpm with 320Nm of maximum torque at 1750-2500rpm.

The year 2010 is unwinding as a pure delight for the Indian automobile enthusiasts and buyers. The Mitsubishi is all set to launch its Evolution series of cars and a new variant of its sports utility vehicle Pajero in India. Japanese automaker has plans to double sales this fiscal. Mitsubishi recently launched the new Mitsubishi Outlander sports utility vehicle with a 2.4-litre petrol engine. The car is now Bharat Stage IV emission norms-compliant.

So now the next on the list is the launch of all new Mitsubishi Pajero by the end of this fiscal, says Hindustan Motors executive vice-president and business head Vijay Kumar. The new Mitsubishi Pajero would cost Rs 19.95 lakh (ex-showroom), while the older version was costlier by over Rs 70,000.
