World's leading passenger car manufacturer Volkswagen Group ready to launch its most awaited small luxury car Volkswagen Beetle in Indian market. Volkswagen Beetle will be launched in premium D-segment after the launch it will compete with Fiat 500 and awited Fiat Bravo. The company announced that they will introduce this premium hatchback on 4th of this December. In Indian market, it is expected that Volkswagen Beetle will be launched with both petrol and diesel engine. The company's senior official said that the company plans to import the car from its parent company so it is possible that heavy import duty will lead its price high end. He refused to say about the exact price of the car but he indicates thatVolkswagen Beetle will be priced in the range of Rs 18 to 20 lacs. Volkswagen has tried its best to build a quality fit and finish of this newer version of luxurious small car,Volkswagen Beetle. And from Volkswagen Beetle Pictures it seems that they got winner in this segment for Indian auto market in their hand. Volkswagen Beetle is a legendary model from Volkswagen product portfolio and it get much popularity at international market because of its unique and stylish look with impressive and luxurious interiors.

Largest European auto manufacturer Volkswagen going to launch its most awaited premium hatchback model Volkswagen Beetle in Indian auto market in the first week of this December. A senior company official said that Volkswagen would import the car from its Mexican manufacturing plant as a CBU (Completely Built Unit) for sale in Indian markets. He, however refused to say about the exact Volkswagen Beetle price but we can surely say that importing the car as a CBU will definitely lead the price of Volkswagen Beetle to high end. It is expected that the heavy import duty will force the company to launch this premium hatchback with hefty price tag and Volkswagen Beetle price will fall in the range of Rs 18 to 20 lacs.

After the huge success in hatchback segment with its most popular model Tata Indica now India's leading auto manufacturer, Tata Motors said that they are planning to launch the electric version of Tata Indica in Indian market.

Tata Motors said that they will launch Tata Indica Electric in Indian auto market and overseas market by the next 12 to 14 months. The company official said that they very start very soon the feasibility study to launch Tata Indica electric in Indian auto market. Tata Motors is currently working on to develop electric Tata Indica with a Norway based company to launch this car in European market by 2011.

German luxury car manufacturer Volkswagen ready to launch its premium hatchback model Volkswagen Polo in Indian market very soon. The top company executive said that Volkswagen Polo will be launched in Indian market in the first half of 2010. Volkswagen initially looking for the 50% of localization for Volkswagen Polo to reduce its overall manufacturing cost. The company plans to launch Volkswagen Polo in both petrol and diesel trims and according to the senior company official all variants of Volkswagen Polo will be available in the range of Rs 4 to 6 lacs.

Leading auto manufacturer Honda Motors planning to launch its new cars in Indian market. According to the company official, Honda plans to launch its small car in Indian market which is expected to hit the Indian roads in 2011-12. With the launch of this new small car company plans to compete other auto manufacturers which currently dominates this segment like Maruti, Hyundai, Tata Motors, Chevrolet and Toyota. Toyota also plans to launch its new cars in Indian market including its small car that might be hit Indian road next year. Currently, this segment is dominated by Maruti Suzuki with over 60% of market share and with seven models in this segment. India's other leading auto manufacturers like Hyundai, Tata motors also have number of models in this segment but Honda doesn't have a small car model in this segment and company looking at new cars in this segment to gain market share in India.

India's leading auto manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra planning to sell more than one lakh used cars in Indian market by 2014. In India, used cars business is continously growing from past few years and to tap more share from this growing used cars market, Mahindra and Mahindra has takes a fresh initiative to focus on its used cars arm Mahindra Firstchoice which is a multi-brand used car sales major from the group of Mahindra and Mahindra. According to the top company official, Mahindra Firstchoice plans to sell more than one lakh used cars by 2014.

Volkswagen Beetle, one of the most successful car model of German auto maker, is learnt to hit Indian roads by December. The new style car would be imported from Volkswagen plant in Mexico. The news was confirmed by a senior company official who was present here for a summit. The car was developed initially as a people's car but it is not the casein India as the cost would be much higher. The price range is believed to be around $20,000 thereby placing it in luxury car segment in India. The car is expected to be displayed in upcoming Auto Expo in Delhi. In the meantime, a news Volkswagen Polo and Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X are believed to be launched in India early next year.

Today on 7th of November, Leading auto manufacturer Ford India has launched the special edition of its most popular model Ford Fiesta in Indian auto market. The newly launched Ford Fiesta variant is priced at Rs 6.44 lacs (as ex-showroom prices in New Delhi). The company official said in a statement that they launched this new version only for its 1.6 ZXI variant that comes with 1.6L, petrol engine.

Japanese auto major Nissan ready to launch its luxurious SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) model, Nissan Murano in Indian market. The company plans to launch Nissan Murano in Indian market in the first quarter of next year. Nissan Murano is the popular premium SUV model from Nissan's product portfolio at international market. In India, Nissan already launched its premium SUV, Nissan X-Trail and luxurious sedan Nissan Teana in the premium car segment and with the launch of Nissan Murano, company plans to make its position more strong in premium vehicle market. The all new Nissan Murano will compete with the Toyota Prado, BMW X3, Mitsubishi Montero and Mercedes Benz M-class. It is expected that Nissan Murano price will fall in the range of Rs 35 to 40 lacs in Indian market as it will be imported as CBU (Completely Built Unit) from the parent company in Japan.
